What does the messy middle actually cost your firm?
Six widgets. You tick what your firm lives with. We do the math. Then we show you the alternative.
Every number in this tool is defended in the assumptions panel under each widget, and in the full methodology page. We made these choices. You can pressure-test them.
What's actually in your stack right now?
Pick what your firm pays for. Drag the slider. Watch the bill.
How we calculated this
What's in the tile set. 22 representative AI tools across text, image, video, audio, research, and publishing/ops. The text/image/video/audio/research rows map to currently-active providers on gimmefy as of today's platform query. The publishing/ops row (Buffer, Hootsuite, Notion AI, Zapier) is honestly outside gimmefy.
Per-tool monthly cost. Median 2026 retail per-seat pricing from each provider's public pricing page — Claude Opus 4.7 $200, GPT-5.4 $200, Gemini 3 Pro $20, Veo 3.1 Quality $50, ElevenLabs $22, etc. Real retail.
Monthly total formula. sum(selected_per_seat_cost) × team_size
Hidden cost formula. count_selected × team_size × 2 hrs/week × $50/hr ÷ 4.33 — meant to approximate the context-switching tax of operating multiple tools (2 hrs/week per person per tool is conservative; many studies put it higher).
"In one platform" indicator. 16 of 22 tiles map to active gimmefy providers (see methodology for the exact list).
How much does it cost when the AI forgets your brand?
Tick what your firm lives with. Each one carries a tax — some you can count, some you can't.
How we calculated this
What's in the tile set. 17 context pains across brief restarts, model handoffs (the main event), between-people friction, and three explicitly human-only tiles (client politics, team chemistry, CEO gut feel).
Per-tile time cost. 0.3 to 1.0 hrs/week per person, varying by severity. Model handoffs typically 0.5-0.7 hrs/wk; brief restarts 0.3-0.5; junior-senior bottleneck 1.0.
Annual formula. sum(selected_hrs) × team_size × 52 weeks × $50/hr. $50/hr is a conservative blended rate for North America/EU mid-market agencies.
Off-brand outputs caught. included_tiles × team_size ÷ 4 — approximates the editorial-review burden.
Reached client anyway. included_tiles × team_size ÷ 18 — conservative; 1 in 18 caught outputs leaks past review.
What have you built — or quietly wished you had?
Tick the capabilities your firm wants to own. Watch what they cost to build — and what they cost not to.
How we calculated this
What's in the tile set. 20 representative capabilities in agency-CEO language (not gimmefy taxonomy). Four tiles flagged as bespoke (need custom Skill/Maestro/Playbook in gimmefy).
"Build it yourself" prices. Typical 2026 freelance/agency quotes for marketing AI custom work — Skills $1-3k, single workflows $8-15k, personas $3-5k, decision-support tools $10-20k, production tools $10-20k.
Annual maintenance. 25% of upfront × (1 + (team-12) × 0.02) — maintenance scales mildly with team size.
Months to ship. Longest tile's build time, in weeks ÷ 4.33.
gimmefy custom-build prices. $1k Skill · $2k Maestro · $3k Playbook — direct from the white-label partner page section 05.
gimmefy platform annual. $30,000 = $2,500/month × 12 — the white-label minimum from section 06.
What is the cost of governing AI by hope?
Some gaps cost you weekly. One costs you everything, once.
How we calculated this
Two cost types. Friction (hrs/week per person, recurring) and Risk ($/year expected, probability-weighted).
Friction formula. sum(selected_hrs) × team × 52 × $50/hr.
Risk formula. sum(annual_expected_$) × (1 + (team-12) × 0.02) — risk scales mildly with team size (more people = more attack surface).
Per-tile risk values. Industry benchmarks for AI/data incident costs in 2026 — $15k for a minor compliance gap, $250k+ for a single client-IP leak, $120k/year for the enterprise deals lost when you can't show SOC 2.
One bad day. Max single-event cost across selected tiles. Honest — that is the worst single thing that could happen from your gap mix.
What gimmefy doesn't fix. Three tiles flagged as human-only (security culture, the AI vibe, client trust over time). The reveal counter honestly reports these as "stay human."
What would your own white-label platform cost to build?
Tick what your branded platform would need to do. Watch the build estimate climb. Then watch the alternative.
How we calculated this
What's in the tile set. 19 representative engineering pieces — what your client sees, what lives in their inbox, the trust signals, the invisible engineering, and three explicitly human-only tiles (selling, consulting, client relationships).
Build costs. Draw on the white-label section 07 evidence — "a standing team of six to twelve, twelve to eighteen months, millions before launch." Per-tile: small UX pieces $15-30k, trust signals $60-250k, invisible engineering $180-540k each.
Annual maintenance per piece. 15-50% of build cost depending on complexity (model maintenance is the highest at ~67% because the AI landscape changes weekly).
Engineers shown. Total engineer-allocations ÷ 2 (rough team-overlap factor).
Months-to-ship. Longest single piece (parallel work assumed across teams).
gimmefy year-one figure. $35,000 base ($30k platform + ~$5k initial setup) plus small per-user uplift past 25 users.
And here it is — the gimmefy version.
Two things. Setup. Usage. We absorb everything else.
How we calculated this
Setup fee. $12,000 one-time, constant — from the white-label section 06 reseller plan.
Monthly formula. max($2,500, credits × $0.10). $2,500 is the minimum (covers 20,000 credits). Above 20,000 credits = $0.10 per additional credit (or $100 per 1,000).
Usage assumption. 500 / 1,000 / 2,500 credits per user per month (Light / Standard / Heavy). Most partners settle around Standard within the first quarter.
Pain total ($3.42M). Sum of typical 25-person agency year-one figures from Widgets 1-5: stack chaos $150k + context plumbing $220k + custom builds $250k + governance exposure $400k + white-label build cost $2.4M.
What this excludes. The $10/user/month per-active-user line from white-label section 06. Partners typically think of it as part of usage. Add ~$120/user/year if you want full precision.
Here's what you ticked.
Across the six widgets you just walked through, this is what your firm is quietly paying for the parts you flagged. Based on what you ticked across the widgets you finished.
You diagnosed your firm in six minutes. The number above is what the messy middle quietly costs you each year. The plan above is how you spend $999 to recover the first thirty days of it.
